The doctors of Fair Lawn Dental Associates are part of a family tradition of dental specialists, whose service and care began back in the 1920s when Dr. Samuel Mahler opened his first practice out of his home in Paterson, New Jersey. The next generation of Mahler dentists began when his son, Dr. Arthur Mahler opened his own practice in 1956. The third generation of Mahler dentists carried on the family tradition when Douglas Mahler joined the practice in 1985.
Fair Lawn Dental Associates has grown to encompass a team of six dentists, including specialists in periodontics (gums and gum disease), endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (dentures, cosmetics and complex dental problems), and oral surgery, as well as a highly trained staff of office professionals.
Though Fair Lawn Dental Associates has grown in size and scope to offer complete, convenient one-stop dental care, one thing hasn’t changed. We are still committed to providing superior gentle dental care with the most advanced treatments, warmest personalized attention and the highest caliber of service; just as Dr. Samuel Mahler did more than 90 years ago.
